Projects Engineer - Intern

ROLE: PROJECTS ENGINEER INTERN
Amotech Africa has an exciting opportunity for internship in the Projects department. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills in Projects, services, equipment use and safe operating procedures while contributing to the success of the Project department and Services department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Learning and development of practical skills
ii. Continuous professional development to stay up to date with the latest knowledge and practices in electrical Engineering.
iii. Pursuing leads, generating quotations, and engaging with clients while ensuring that the company’s best interest is upheld.
iv. Assisting with execution of projects, services, and any other routine activities.
v. Documentation and reporting on all activities carried out.
vi. Compliance with safety procedures
vii. Any other task that may be assigned from time to time.
Competencies and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering – 2nd Class Honors (Upper Division)
At least 3 Months attachment/internship
Problem solving skills.
Computer Literacy – Word, Excel, Power point
Basics in AutoCAD or any other relevant design Software – Additional advantage
Basics in Electrical simulation software such as ETAP or MATLAB – Additional advantage
