𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 – was not just another day, it was a day well spent.
143 km from Nairobi, in the heart of Narok’s outskirts, laughter and curiosity lit up the air as Amotech Africa partnered with 3Es Experience to deliver something magical – a brand-new mobile science lab for the bright young minds of Olopito Junior Secondary School.
The mobile lab – complete with over 20 essential science tools and systems – safely arrived at the school. From wide-eyed excitement as the lab rolled in to the cheers at the launch, it was a moment that reminded us why we do what we do. Some of our very own team members were on the ground to hand over the lab and share in the joy, and honestly, it felt like magic in motion.
Previously, the children had to commute to a neighboring school to access a laboratory and conduct their experiments. This was heavily dependent on the lab’s availability—whether it was already in use by the other school—and the distance itself. The long walks consumed much of their learning time and limited their opportunities to practice science effectively.

This initiative is and will make a difference, giving 81 students from Grades 7 to 9 the chance to access practical science lessons, conduct experiments more often, and build the confidence they need to excel in STEM.
